Middleway Roof Refurbishment

Middleway Roof Upgrade

We recently completed a full roof upgrade on a heritage property in Middleway, working within a designated conservation area that required great care, precision and respect for the building’s original character. To preserve the appearance of the property, all existing tiles were carefully removed, inspected and reinstated, ensuring the finished roof remained true to its historic surroundings while benefiting from modern roofing performance.

As part of the upgrade, our team applied detailed design considerations to bring the roof up to current practical and regulatory standards. This included introducing effective ventilation, updated fixing methods and enhanced durability throughout the structure, all aligned with building control requirements. The project also featured specialist leadwork to several dormer cheeks, bonnet-style hip installations, and the construction of a tabletop flat roof finished using the high-performance Res-Tec Flexitec system.

This project was completed in collaboration with Blake Builders Ltd, a valued client with whom we have maintained a strong working relationship for over 10 years. Delivered over approximately six weeks, the Middleway refurbishment stands as another example of AWH Roofing Ltd’s commitment to quality, heritage sensitivity and long-lasting roofing solutions.
